The AUGISt Training Day remains the highlight of our programme, and this year will take place on Wednesday 17th September immediately prior to the AUGIS Annual Meeting at the Brighton Centre.
The whole of the morning will be dedicated to wet lab skills sessions. Expert faculty will guide trainees through a variety of procedures, using cutting edge surgical technology and animal tissue. These sessions will be run as simulated Procedural Based Assessments via the ISCP, allowing trainees to record their training and progression. The afternoon will contain a series of rapid-fire vivas, with content tailored to all levels of training. In order to ensure high quality training in the wet lab sessions, registration will be strictly limited to the first 36 trainees.Rob Jones President, AUGISt
